Peek-a Boo-Kitten

I'm on a Valentine kick. And how could you not be with cute stamps like this one from High Hopes?

 I haven't used this stamp for quite a few years, so I decided to visit their online store. Oh my goodness, they have some really cute stamps.

I cut the image with the Silhouette Cameo and colored it with Copics.  I used my pencils for shading around him and behind the fence, mostly because I did not want anything to bleed through. The fence and XOXO were also cut with the Silhouette Cameo. I used dimensionals under the kitten and fence, then added a couple of heart stickers from Hobby Lobby just to balance everything out.

March Christmas Card Commitments

I'm almost never late for anything, but I am kind of a last minute gal.  So I surprised myself and finished before the 31st with this challenge.

This one is a High Hopes stamp. The DP paper is from K&Company. I colored this with Copics and Prisma pencils. The embellishments are a Wilton doily and buttons.

Isn't this Bo-Bunny paper fabulous? The horse is from Serendipity and the sentiment is Paper Trey Ink. This was done with Prisma Pencils and touched up a bit with Copics.

The silver paper has really pretty embossing, which didn't photo well.  The paper is My Minds Eye. The stamp is Stampendous. The itsy-bitsy poinsettias are a digi from A Day For Daisies. The deer was cut from my Silhouette Cameo. I also used Spellbinder's dies with this.

Whew! I am really tired.  Best hit the pillow, it's going to be a long week.  Have a good one.

Quick Post for a Short Weekend.

The title says it all. I worked Saturday morning and from home Sunday.  Our youngest granddaughter spent the night Saturday and today we are having a birthday dinner for our daughter and youngest son. Whew!

This is High Hopes stamp, I paired with a Hampton Art sentiment.  I colored the cat and bird with Copics.
the sentiment cut with a Paper Trey Ink die. and mounted with a Die-namics die. I don't know the DP company as it's from my scrap stash.  The boarders were done with a Martha Stewart Punch.

My favorite Summertime treat.

So I have this unmounted stamp. I am pretty sure I know it's a High Hopes stamp, but I need verification. So I go to the High Hopes online store and sure enough it's High Hopes.  However, in the process of verifying, stuff just started jumping into a basket!  Let's just say, NOT labeling can have its consequences.

Watermelon  is my most favorite summertime food.  It even surpasses (gasp!) chocolate.

I stamped on white card stock and colored her with Copics.  I wanted "Summertime",  but I had already stamped and colored her, so I couldn't do it on my PC, so I went with "Sunshine", which is a clear stamp from Snag'em Stamps.  The flower border is a sticker from Paper Studio. This is the first time, I've ever used a sticker and I just love them.  The only DP I used was as a backdrop and it is DCWV.  I did add a little Stickles to the top of the watermelon.

My Bank Account

  

I've been feeling a little blue lately and unappreciated.  Shame on me!  A while back my sweet sister sent me an email titled "Bank Account". It's probably one that has been around, but it was the first time I had seen it and it made an impression.  It is too long to post on my blog, but here is part of the email:

     So, my advice to you would be to deposit a lot of happiness in the bank

      account of memories!    

     Thank you for your part in filling my Memory Bank.    I am still depositing.    

     'Remember the five simple rules to be happy:    

              1. Free your heart from hatred.  

              2. Free your mind from worries.    

              3. Live simply.    

              4. Give more.    

              5. Expect less.    

So here's my card. It's one of my favorites and I've been saving it.  And today I ran across High Hope's 100th Challenge Anything Goes. 

Yes, I am still a little camera challenged.  I wanted to show off how I punched out the balls with some coordinating paper. They were the perfect size. I colored Jiggles with Copics, used a Spellbinders circle die, a little ribbon and topped it off with some Stickles on the flower in his pocket.  The paper is DCWV from Hobby Lobby. 

The day is mostly over, so I'll wish everyone a deposit for their "Bank Account".
