Hey Chickadee!

The weather has been pretty mild here in Iowa.  We have had one snow fall, which melted off the sidewalks and roads as soon as it fell.  We even had temps in the 70's a couple weeks ago. I am sure we will be getting our share of cold and snow, but if it could hold off a bit I won't complain.

This little chickadee does not seen to mind the cold. He has that nice little scarf to warm him and a bright star to shine on him (or her).

I use this Stamps Happen image every Christmas season.  You may recognize the artist, Carolyn Shores Wright.
The image was colored with Copics and the snow drops are Liquid Pearls. The red frame and card base were cut with Spellbinder's Reflective Moment.  And Spellbinder's Majestic Labels Twenty-Five was used to cut and frame the image.

I hope everyone is enjoying all holiday fun decorating, shopping and gatherings of family and friends.  We must also remember "Jesus is the reason for the season."

American Home

I just loved coloring this one.  Would you believe the most difficult to color was the roof?

This American Home from Stamps Happen and the artist is Carolyn Shores Wright. This was colored with Copies.  The white lattes punch is from Martha Stewart And the "God Bless America" says Vippies and I have no idea where I acquired it.

I have entered this in the Splitcoast Challenge F4A58 "Home Sweet Home".

Well, I am back, but not happy.  Formatting went very well. I've got everything back and running, but I cannot get the upgrade @!#$%.  Deep breaths! Deep breaths!

Now let's talk tranquility, joy and peace. This little guy is so sweet he just calmed me right down..

The Artist is Carolyn Shores Wright. The the stamp is from Stamps Happen. I stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black, Colored with Copics, pencil and Gamsol.  I used Spellbinders die and mounted it on some paper, that I have no idea where it come from other than the scraps I keep. I also used a Martha Stewart Punch for the lace.
