Flourishes Christmas in July

I have not been feeling very creative lately, but challenge me to make a Christmas card and I'm in all the way.  Love, love to make Christmas cards.

The stamp did not indicate what type of birds these are and there wasn't anything in the Flourishes gallery, so I decided they should be Robins, although you'll never see one in Iowa during the Winter season.

I've colored the image with Copics and touched it up with some Prisma pencils.  I needed to lengthen the Marianne die to fit the image, so I covered up the cut with a Martha Stewart pine leaf punch.  The center step card was made with my Silhouette Cameo and the side panels were embossed with a Fiskers folder.

I am entering this in the Flouishes Christmas in July card (FTTC230).

Furry Fairies

Aren't these guys the cutest ever!

This is one of A Day For Daisies newest digi's.  I colored my kitties with Copics, cut them out and mounted them using Spellbinder dies. The sentiment is computer generated.

Fall in a Window

I've recently rediscovered my Silhouette Cameo.  Step cards are now sooo easy.

I colored this Flourishes Autumn Blossoms stamp with a combo of Copic and Prisma markers. I cut the image out, which left some of the details a little frail, so I reinforced it from the back using some Diamond Glaze.  The corner dies were snipped from a larger Cheery Lynn die and the little butterfly in the corner is a Fiskers punch.

Two post in 2 days!  I'm on a roll!

Great Day!

Today I am the guest designer for Great Impressions Stamps .  What an honor.  I am so pumped that Jenny has asked me to be a guest designer.  Great Impressions Stamps has something for everyone from cute little mice to elegant flowers. For my card, I have chosen the beautiful Wildfire Silhouette.

The first thing I did was to print my computer generated sentiment.  Using my Stamp-a-ma-jug I stamped it once then again ever so softly for a shadow effect. I then added a little color with my Copics then topped it off with Stickles and a little sponging.  Using my new Spellbinders Floral Ovals, I cut it out and layered it on some pastel card stock.  The pretty butterfly die is from Cheery Lynn Designs.
