Chrysanthemum

Yup! I used spell check for "Chrysanthemum".

I am so in love with digi's.  Would someone tell me how I still manage to get ink on my fingers??
Look what I did with this Cuddly Buddly corner didgi.

I just kept flipping and turning the image until I got the results I wanted.  Awesome!

Lots of bobbles

So, I'm almost out of time to finish my July 3 card commitment for the Splitcoast Christmas Card Challenge.
Cuddly Buddly came to my aid with the pretty didgi.

Again, look at how versatile a digi can be.   I pasted the digi into my Word document 3 times and inverted the outer panels. It may be a little quirky, but then so am I.

Less is More is 1 year

Congratulations to Less is Moore Challenge blog.  I've only been play along for a few months, and was so surprised to learn that they are so new. They have a huge following and fan base.  These two ladies,Chrissie and Mandi  have worked very hard to make it a success.  They have commented on every one of my entries, and introduced to me, via their blog to an array of amazing talent.  And as I speak of talent, let me say that both Chrissie and Mandi come up with some the most amazing and unique cards I've seen.  Stop by their blogs and see their beautiful cards.

We'd love you to display our banner

This weeks challenge is the color aqua. Here is a Hero Arts entry colored with Copics, shaded with Prisma  pencils and accented with Stickles. What a pretty bouquet!

Happy Birthday, LIM!

Sophisticated Bunny

I mean really, doesn't he look rather stately and sophisticated with the black?  I think this is going to be a Mo Manning weekend.  I an missing my stamping buddy as she is a little under the weather.

This is a Mo's Digital pencil image that I colored with Copics and shaded with Prisma pencils. The sentiment is a Hero Art stamp.

There you have it. Pretty simple.

Where's the Sun?

As of Monday, I will not see the sun, except for weekends for about 5 months.  Although, I have a beautiful office, I don't have any windows.  I go to work between 6AM and 7AM and leave for home around 6PM. Which brings me to this photo.  I didn't have any natural light for it, so I tried it with a flash, without a flash, I dimmed the lights and took about a dozen photos before I chose this one.  It looks just a little fuzzy to me.

This pumpkin is from Serendipity and the sentiment is Hero Arts. I colored the image with Copis and added a little glitter. That was the other problem the flash was hitting the glitter just right, so it looked like there were areas that didn't get colored.
I am entering this in the Simply Less is Moore Challenge week-40 which is orange and red.

Friend

This is my "Go To" stamp. It's good for just about any occasion. It's always there when I need it and it never let's me down. Kind of like a friend.

I just found out my friend and my daughter-in-laws mother is not doing so well.  She went through a round of Chemotherapy last year but now the cancer has returned. Last year, I made her a card every week on the day she had treatment.  She kept them all.  I think I will do a repeat this round.

The stamp is Windy Tree from Hero Arts. The sentiment "I cherish your friendship" is an  Inadinkado stamp
The DP is K&Company.  I attached some beads and mounted it on some deep chocolate brown card stock.

Have a great weekend.

Who's Right?

Okay, so DH and I disagree. I bought this new comforter to replace current the drab celery green one. He thinks this is over the top. He has a point. It does have a bit of the wow factor.  My points are; the our bedroom doesn't have any other pattern, the carpet and walls are the same color as the picture and shouldn't the bedroom have a little bit of wow??

So where do you think I got the inspiration for my card?

This is a Hero Arts stamp. Not much coloring here. I stamped it 3 times, once for background, 2nd and 3rd were on white and yellow. I cut out the white and yellow flowers out and popped them up on the gray-ish background. Then I mounted it in yellow and olive card stock.  It doesn't show well but the yellow was embossed with "With Love" Cuttlebug embossing folder. I also added some green glitter to the flower centers.

P.S. the comforter is now on the bed.
