As Promised

As promised this post is not about Christmas.  Today I have three cards to demonstrate how versatile a digi can be.  These cards were all done with Cuddly Buddly digi Pachala Studio's Spring Bouquet.

This card was colored with Prisma Pencils and cut out with a Spellbinders die. I mounted the image on white card stock that was embossed with a Cuttlebug embossing folder.

I really went bold with this one and blew the digi up to make a huge bouquet.  I colored this one with Copics and mounted it with some red card stock and some gingham DP from DCWV Preppy Princes.

This one, I've scaled down a bit to show more of the same DP.  This one was colored with Prisma pencils. I used the same DP DCWV Preppy Princes and added a sentiment from Hero Arts.

So the couple of weeks I've shown you some very different digi's from Cuddly Buddly.  They have nearly 800 to choose from and are periodically adding more.  Shopping is easy.

Another Christmas Card?

I know, it's 90 deg. in Iowa and I'm on a Christmas card kick. I'm just trying to fill my Christmas Card Challenge of (3) per month.  I promise,  the next card will not be Christmas.  But be honest aren't these digi's from Cuddly Buddly just irresistible?

Another first.

This is the first time I have downloaded and printed digital DP. I have a couple of tips. Take your printer propoerties off grey scale print (Duh!) an don't compress the image (Double Duh!).

The best part of the Cuddly Buddly papers is that that they match the Digi's. I am so pleased at how the holly DP turned out.

My Big News

Cuddly Buddly posted a design team call at Splitcoast and guess what? I applied and was graciously accepted me into the fold.  Please check out their amazing line of products.  I will be featuring many of their Digi's.  I think they have one of the best selections with over 700 to choose from.

CAS

I joined in on a CAS challenge at Splitcoast Stampers.  The theme for this challenge was "love".
This is what I came up with.  I doesn't get any simpler than this.

The sentiment is from Stampin Up and the butterfly is from Skipping Stones.  I colored the butterfly with Spectrum Noir DR7 and CR11 and added some gems and mounted it on black card stock.

I find myself move more towards the simple lately.

I just love the pure pleasure this little sweetie displays.

This is an Elizabeth Bell stamp which I colored with Copics. I used Spellbinder dies and a Cuttlebug embossing folder for the matting. I also used some Diamond Glaze on the handbag.  

This is my second card using this stamp. I posted it on SC, but I don't see it anywhere on my blog. So here is the first one.

I know this is in no way a card for Memorial Day.  I hope you join me in showing deep appreciation for our Military heroes past and present. 

This is quick, card I made for LIM Challenge - One Layer - Three Stamps.

The three stamps I used were:

Stampendous - Peony
"So proud of you" - Verve Stamps
Butterfly - Paper Trey Ink.

I colored this with black and blue pencils. and added some Stickles.

Unfortunately the flower was cut and placed on the card front, therefore it's not ONE LAYER.
