Sherri's cat ate my card.

This is an excuse I haven't used before. Most of my followers know that Sherri of http://TheCateAteMyCard.blogspot.com, is my BFF, so she won't mind me using her cat, Brady, for an excuse.  We share, right? Check our her blog, she has some amazing cards there.

This is my favorite stamp that I use every year. I usually send it to my lovely sister, as her home slightly resembles this one.

Stamp:    PSX
Dies:       Cheery Lynn (Corners), Spellbinder, Sue Wilson (Bottom), Marianne Poinsettia
Medium: Copics, Prisma Pencils with Gamsol
Punch:     Martha Stewart (greenery)

I don't know if I will be posting again before Christmas.  In case I don't, I wish you a Merry Christmas and God's blessings.

I over slept!

I over slept.  Well, I haven't used that excuse before. Sorry to be away so long.  I've come down with post-a-phobia.  I wish I were a bit more clever or interesting, but most times when I sit down to write a post... I go nothing.

Both of these were made with Cuddly Buddly Winter Walkies clear stamp set, and colored with Copics.  The step card was made with my Silhouette Cameo, and framed and accented with Marianne dies.

On the second card, the circle frame and the poinsettia are Marianne dies. I made the base by cutting a Joy Crafts die on the fold.

I have quite a few cards made up and ready to go, so the plan is to do another post yet this week.

Cuddly Buddly October Release

Toby Tumble is having fun on his sled. Whoops we lost someone.

Here Toby has slowed down a bit, careful not too loose any of those pretty wrapped gifts.

Now tell me, is Toby not just the cutest Holiday greeting?
I colored both cards with a combination of Copics and Prisma pencils for shading. Both images were framed with Marianne dies. On the first card I used a Sizzix embossing floder.

On the second card I downloaded the pretty background paper from Cuddly Buddly and topped it off with the last bit of this red gingham ribbon from my stash.

Owner and Designer, Kim McFarlane is such a pleasure to design for. Check out her store for a one stop crafting delight.  Here is the link to the October Release stamps that I've used.

Just a Little more Summer Please.

I just adore anything Poppy Power and this digi set explains why.  You don't even have to be an experienced card maker to make something delightful. The stamp has done most of the work for my card.

I have used Poppy Power's digi stamp set Countryside Bouquet and colored it with Prisma pencils and Gamsol. The Dies are Spellbinder's Gold Labels Four and Decorative Labels Eight. The pearls were kind of an after thought, just to fill in the white area a little.

This will be going straight over to Poppy Powers Challenge Blog.

Cataract Surgery tomorrow.  Wish me well!

It's a Wrap

Can you believe September is almost gone.  Only 93 day left for this year and 87 until Christmas.
So these cute little bears from Cuddly Buddly are wrapping it up.

The wreath was cut on my Silhouette Cameo. The embossing folder is from Nellie Snellen.

For this one I used the Marianne poinsettia die and Marianne Anas Large Oval die to mount

The greenery is a Martha Stewart punch and the embossing folder is from Darice.
Both images were colored with a combination of Copics, pencils and Gamsol.

See you in October.

I'm late for an important date. I've had some major PC problems.  Cuddly Buddly's new stamps arrived mid September and are they cute. This stamp set was hand picked for me by owner and designer Kim.

Snow Globe

I found this cute card design at the Silhouette Cameo online store, and edited it to work with Cuddly Buddly's penguin from their August release. Isn't he cute?

The SVG file came with a Santa and Sleigh, but I wanted it for this image.  With the Silhouette Cameo I can scan an image or upload a digital image and either cut it or weld it to an existing SVG file. So cool!
This is actually a tri-fold card.

I used Copics to color the image and added a bit of Viva glitter. I sponged the outer edges of the card globe and stamped some snowflakes inside the globe.  The green poinsettia is a Marianne die with some gems in the center.
