Get your news! Read all about it!

I am so excited to announce I have been chosen to join the Design Team for Cuddly Buddly's new clear stamp line.

Please check out their other designers and the Cuddly Buddly blog.

Here is my first card for the August Release

The new Cuddly Buddly clear stamps are of superior quality.  The stamps deliver a crisp detail image.

For my first Project I used the cute robin from the new Toby Tumble & Robins stamp set. I just love him.

I used my colored pencils and Gamsol as my medium.  I chose this beautiful Joy Crafts die to frame the image, then used a Marianne holly die to embellish.  I used some dark green card stock to mount and frame the Joy Crafts die then I added the red to the holly berries with a Copic marker.

You can find all the products I used at the Cuddly Buddly Shop.

Kim the owner of Cuddly Buddly, designs many of the stamps herself.  Her store a variety of  dies, papers and hundreds of digital images.

Thanks Kim for this awesome opportunity.

Happy Independence Day everyone. I love this great country and the military who has protected and defended us. They have given so much and deserve our gratitude.

Girls Rule

I made this for the Splitcoast Tea Party Challenge.  If you are a SCS member and I not done a Tea Party Challenge, you might want to give it a try. The card you make always goes to someone who is in need of a little kindness. A lot of times it is for a child. This one is going to a little girl that has been very sick. She loves pink and princesses. I think this will be perfect for her.

Something to Crow About

A friend just finished a kitchen remodel.  She started out thinking she would do chickens but changed her mind.  I made the card and bought her a pretty chicken trivet before the kitchen was finished.  I figured you can always use another trivet and I really liked how this turned out.  Oh, did I mention she has a Pinterest board just for chickens?

Are you drooling over that frame.  I cut it from my Silhouette Cameo and I am crazy for it.  This was an old digi from Digi Doodle Shop, which is no longer in business. I'm so glad I have it. I used my white pen for highlighting the feathers.

Stamps:   Digi Doodle Shop, Cuddly Buddly (sentiment)
Medium:  Copics, Momento Rick Cocoa for sponging.
Paper:     From my scrap box, cream & teal card stock
Frames:   Spellbinder Gold Labels 4, Silhouette Cameo

Go strut your stuff!

July

I love this beautiful country! I could get real sappy about the whole thing, but instead I bring out my red, white and blue card.

Isn't this Serendipity stamp pretty. And BONUS it has a watermelon! I only used my Copics on the watermelon. The rest of the coloring was done with sparkly gel pens and sponging the center. I also used the Art Institute Glitter on the banner image.

The dies I used are Spellbinders Bracket Borders One.

God Bless the USA!
