Go to the White

I made this card for my future DIL's shower. I hope she likes it.

I thought it was just as pretty before setting it up as an easel card.

The bride is a digi stamp from A Day For Daisies.  The sentiment "Here comes the bride" is from Pebbles Clear Stamps.   I used a Sizzix embossing folder and the die cut is from Memory Box.

The pearls and the flowers are from Jolee's.

Miss Me?

Sorry, I haven't been blogging.  What have I been up to?  Approximately 300 wedding invitations.

I did have to make a sympathy card.  My first.  I've just never felt comfortable doing them, but this turned out pretty well.

I just love the Psalms.  Both image a sentiment are digi's from TLC Creations. I just added a little color to the bird with my Prisma pencils and used an old Cuttlebug die to do the embossing.

Rooster Rouser

I've had this digi for a long, long time and never used it. Now, I am wondering WHY?  This rooster from Digi Doodle Shop's Best was so much fun that I'm just thinking I will have to use him again real soon.

This is my first easel card and I can't believe I how easy they are.  So, since this is a first for me and the rooster, it will fit right in with the Digi Doodles Shop's Best  challenge which is "Something New".

I colored with Copics, and used Spellbinder's circle dies, with a Wilton doily. I also used Martha Stewart punches to create a fence type look, and the pretty white base. The flowers are from my stash, and I have no Idea of the company. Likewise with the ribbon.

The sentiment is from TPS Studios.  And if you can't read it, this is what it says. "A smile is a curve that sets everything straight".

Reaching out

I've had this digi a long time. I thought it would make a good Easter card.  But after saving it all this time, I took another direction.

This sweet digi is from Phindy's Place.  I colored this image with Prisma pencils and Gamsol, and the DP is Basic Grey.  The sentiment was computer generated and in case you can't read it on the card here it is:

March Christmas Card Commitments

I'm almost never late for anything, but I am kind of a last minute gal.  So I surprised myself and finished before the 31st with this challenge.

This one is a High Hopes stamp. The DP paper is from K&Company. I colored this with Copics and Prisma pencils. The embellishments are a Wilton doily and buttons.

Isn't this Bo-Bunny paper fabulous? The horse is from Serendipity and the sentiment is Paper Trey Ink. This was done with Prisma Pencils and touched up a bit with Copics.

The silver paper has really pretty embossing, which didn't photo well.  The paper is My Minds Eye. The stamp is Stampendous. The itsy-bitsy poinsettias are a digi from A Day For Daisies. The deer was cut from my Silhouette Cameo. I also used Spellbinder's dies with this.

Whew! I am really tired.  Best hit the pillow, it's going to be a long week.  Have a good one. 

Gather the Roses

Hi everyone! Sorry I haven't posted much. I afraid I am reverting into that collector mode. I love shopping, but just can't seem to make anything come together. Hopefully this little project will send me back in the creating mode.

This is all one stamp from Crafters Companion.  I colored the rose with Copics and shaded with pencil and sponging along the outer regions.  Used Spellbinders label dies for mount and and a Cuttlebug die for the flourishes. I also did some scoring with my Score Pal.

Times a ticking.  Got things to do, places to go and roses to gather. 

Thank You's

I had another 49th birthday last week, so here are a few of the thank you cards I made.  I am entering one in the Less is More Challenge - One Layer, Script.  The "Thank You!" was computer generated. I changed it up a little with coloring in the letters and adding a stamp or an embellishment.

The birds are Hero Arts stamps and the dragonfly is Serendipity.  The Sunflower is a button, and I used a Die-Namics die cut to make the black and white flower.  I used both Copics and Prisma pencils to color. The embossing was done with Cuttlebug folders and on the last card I used a Fisker's boarder punch. Each card has glitter, on the block letters, which never photos. Also, I used only green on the one with the sunflower, but it photoed as black.

I've decided #1 will be my challenge entry.
