Fall is my favorite season. The leaves turning beautiful shades of orange, green, and red. An early morning chill and leaving the doors and windows open all day just energizes me.

This is a QKR Stampede image which I colored with Copics. I fussy cut some of the leaves and the shoes then popped them up with foam dots. oN the leaves I used Wink of Stella. The bow in the corner is from Paper Studio, but I don't remember where I got the little wood bird in the top corner. I used Memory Box Stitched Square Layers to cut and layer the image with dark green cardstock. I think the DP is Graphic 45.
I'm entering my card in QKR-Stampede-challenge #160-scarecrows.

Your skills and expertise sure stand out in a crowd, Gail. This is outstanding! My goodness, I never would have thought to pop out the shoes. It appears so dimensional, as though the scarecrow could almost come to life. Tremendously creative! I'm sure happy to see this in our QKR challenge this week!
He's absolutely precious, Gail ! Love your coloring and embellies. Thanks so much for playing along in our "Scarecrows" challenge at QKR Stampede this week. Hope to see you playing next week, too. :-D

Awesome scarecrow! Beautiful coloring, as always, and popping his shoes & some of the leaves up was just a brilliant idea! Love that little wooden bird. He was the perfect touch to finish it all off. One of the cutest scarecrows I've seen in a long time!
So CUTE and beautifully colored Gail! Looking at this guy... something is familiar... yes! A Raggedy Andy face! Love him!
