Fussy Chic

Those of you that know me, know I rarely use those pretty papers and I don't layer very well.
I hope this (barely) qualifies as "Shabby Chic".  I really wanted to enter the Power Poppy Shabby Chic challenge.  I have the lace, the pearls, the flowers and butterflies.  I don't have the layers of pretty papers or ribbon, but I do really like how this turned out.

My new printer allows me to print on thin watercolor paper and I've rediscover how fun it is to paint.  I fussed over this for a couple of hours and decided I needed to quit before I ruined it.

Challenge:  Power Poppy a-little-shabby-little-chic

Stamps: Power Poppy digi, Verve (Sentiment)
Die:  Sue Wilson
Accessories:  Pearls, Martha Stewart Butterfly punch

I honestly think the "shabby chic" is open to interpretation. How could you go wrong with something as gorgeous as this? The die cut card base is WOW and your watercoloring is fabulous. I haven't tried watercoloring anything printed on my new printer, but the ink used in the old one would smear or, at the very least, fade. I used to love watercoloring. This is beautifully done. Thanks for sharing it in our Shabby & Chic challenge, Gail.
